I have added more information of the early Sandstrom family. I have also added information on Rosfors Bruk on The Places page.
There have been some changes to how the individual family pages are arranged. Each family has a sub-page listed under the People main page. I have also added family tree charts on the people pages which show the ancestors of my mother and father.
Check out the Churches in Sweden page, where I added a pdf file on the church in Torslanda. The file contains more images and some interesting pictures about the church.
I have added information about my dad, Sven Louis Sandstrom. The slideshow shows pictures from the time he was a little boy through the time when he met my mom, "Ginny" Carlstrom. Most of this information was taken from his military discharge papers and a couple of newspaper clippings from the Worcester Telegram and Gazette during the time he was serving overseas, World War II.
I have added the story about my mother's Aunt Ingeborg, who was her father's sister. The story begins under the Finding Clues page.
I have added some information on my mother's Uncle Claes Carlstrom. His story begins on the People page and continues to the Carlstrom page.
I am looking for dates, pictures and general information on those decended from John and Emma Irene (Enberg) Sandstrom. Check out my announcements page for a peek at a couple of pages of the book I am working on. I hope to have this book completed in time for July 2011.
The story about Charley and Emma K. (Hult) Enberg has been added to the people page. Their daughter, Emma Irene, was my grandmother (my father's mother.) The informationm for their story was found in an article in a newsletter for the American Steel and Wire Company at the time of there 50th anniversary in 1936. I have added a picture of Emma K.'s parents and two of her brothers (the Sven Hult family) and the story will be adde
A few changes have been made to the Emigration Story page. Minor details have been added while a few inaccuracies have been erased. I have also started a chapter on Quinsigamond Village. There will be more information on Worcester and the Village later.
